Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor who is best recognized for her role as House in the Fox Medical drama House. After turning 18, Lisa moved from Wayne to New York City from Wayne in the state of Wayne, where she was raised according to traditional Jewish customs. She became very involved with the club scene in New York City, and was able to be recognized from the news media. While doing so, she was becoming more aware of AIDS its devastating consequences. She used both her experience in the music industry and public recognition to make and appear in a musical of her own, Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed a job at MTV as host of Awake in the Wild Side. After the show was finished, she went on to join the film as well as TV productions. She started with smaller roles, and then became established gradually as an actress.
