Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American from Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her mother, who is Argentinan of Scottish as well as English descendant is her mother. Her mother is Spanish and English descent. Taylor Joy has four siblings. One of them is in each parent's prior marriages. They resided within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. According to Taylor-Joy the relocation was difficult and she refused to master English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was forced to change schools. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school plays. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to work as an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to model.
